​CURRENT MARKETING AND PR STRATEGIES

360 DEGREE VIDEO: Most recently, 360 degree videos have been introduced to social media so that when the video plays, it allows the user to move the video around whilst the video is playing – this is similar to 360 video used on clothing sites but only recently it’s been used as a marketing tool. A prime example of this is the Degree deodorant advert featuring Steph Curry. (Video seen on Twitter)

 

ART EXHIBITIONS: Off White themselves have used art exhibitions as a way of advertising their clothing to their customers to look at and then making the product available to buy afterwards. This is a now a more current way of marketing for the brand, being that their premise is to be artistic and expressive.

 

INFLUENCER PR: Off White more than often post pictures of well-known musicians, and influencers wearing their products to entice the consumer viewing them, Off White also have a technique when doing this by posting at least 4 to 5 times a day. Being that social media is their main way of advertising this is highly effective and one of the most classic but current ways to entice consumers.

 

ADVERTORIALS: Off White have done one-off advertorials in premium magazines, showcasing their products in the form of an editorial, listing the product names and prices in the corner of the page, also telling the consumer where the products can be bought, whether it be from a department store or Off White’s own website.
